Total Score:

Add your scores for each response. If your score is 14 or greater, you may have a Postpartum Mood Disorder. It is important that you contact a therapist and a physician for evaluation and treatment.  Hormones and biological changes can contribute greatly to your emotional adjustment, however there can be many psychological factors as well.  If you answered “yes” to question J, you should seek help immediately.
